Sweater season is upon us and what’s not to love? The mystery of wearing loose fitting garments is a big draw for me… Am I wearing a bra? Maybe. Am I wearing underneath what I slept in last night? You’ll never know. Did I just eat an entire cheese plate to myself? Most likely, but the bloats not gonna give me away!
Another plus about sweater weather, you finally get to feel warm (that’s assuming you are a cold soul like me). Actually, not warm, cosy…ah, cosy is just the best feeling. I live for cosy. I’m the girl that sleeps in fleece pyjamas, I have a throw on my sofa all year round and it serves more than just as decoration, I have fluffy socks that make me feel really resentful towards my sandals in the summer months and sometimes I make a cup of tea…not to drink but just to warm my hands. You may think, why would you look forward to “sweater weather” if you’re always cold? That’s just it, I’m always cold and at least when it’s cold outside I can wrap up until my hearts content, not like in those few sunny days where I gain a few side eyes as I rub my arms and shiver whilst others sweat!
No matter your style, there is a sweater for you. I have come to think of sweater styles as if they were made for spice girls…maybe it’s a bit of nostalgia setting in.
